As the Executive Director of LPGA, Leah is responsible for overseeing the growth of her community. Originally from Red Wing, Minnesota, she now resides in Palm Coast, FL. Leah holds a Master's Degree in Business Administration with a specialization in HR management from Capella University. She also holds an HR certification, SHRM-CP.

With almost 30 years of experience working within the long-term care industry, Leah has found her calling. She started out working with children with disabilities and discovered that helping them and their families was the most rewarding work she could imagine. Since then, Leah has had the opportunity to support individuals in all stages of life, including seniors.

Her favorite part about working with seniors is hearing about their life experiences. She is fascinated by their histories, stories, and wealth of knowledge.

When she is not working, Leah enjoys tending to her herb and vegetable gardens, crafting, cooking, baking, and spending time at the beach.

Jennifer King is from a small town just outside of downtown Grand Rapids called Standale in Michigan. "Growing up we called it Standstill because nothing ever changes," she jokes. She graduated from Grand Valley State University with a B.S. in Hospitality Management and a minor in General Business, and her background is in Sales & Marketing for Senior Living, Retail Management, Hotels, and Events. Her favorite part of working with seniors is creating relationships and getting to know their stories, and she loves helping their families during the research process, enhancing their lives, and watching them thrive and be happy.

Jennifer's favorite parts about working for the Blake are the company's vision, the dedication of the CEO, the quality products that the Blake offers and its integrity to deliver those products, the passionate company culture, and the people I work with. Outside of work, her passions are travel, ancient civilizations, history, food, and wine. She also enjoys yoga, pilates, barre, and dancing.

Emilie is the Director of Business Operations here at The Blake at LPGA. She is a native Floridian and grew up in Sanford before moving to New Smyrna Beach.

Before moving into the Senior Living Industry, Emilie worked in various other industries, including healthcare, customer service, and office administration.

Emilie's favorite part of working with seniors is being able to form connections with them. She enjoys hearing their stories and learning all about their life experiences. She enjoys working for The Blake because she loves building relationships, helping families with the transition, and guiding them through their processes.

When she is not working, Emilie enjoys spending time with her two children and fiancé. They love enjoying water activities like going to the beach, water parks, or just sitting by the pool.

Lisa is the Assistant Director of Sales here at The Blake at LPGA. She was born in Fort Lauderdale, FL but was raised in Lake Hartwell, GA.

She holds an Associate Degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management from Gainesville College in Oakwood, GA. Before making the move into the senior living industry, Lisa worked in real estate, as well as food and beverage sales.

Lisa's favorite part about working with seniors is learning about their past experiences. When she is not working, she enjoys traveling, dining, biking, hiking, and exploring nature.

Takiara is the Assistant Director of Wellness here at The Blake at LPGA. She is a native Floridian and was born and raised in Daytona Beach.

Takiara has worked in senior living for quite some time and originally started out as a CNA. She worked as a CNA for five years before becoming an LPN, and since becoming an LPN, she has worked as a skilled nursing unit manager. She is also an ALF administrator.

Takiara's favorite part of working with seniors is being able to make a positive difference in their lives. She enjoys working for The Blake because she loves the family atmosphere and work-life balance she is able to achieve.

When she is not working, Takiara enjoys spending time with family and going to the dog park with her dog Novah. She also enjoys going to church, shopping, and journaling.

Sandy is the Director of Activities here at The Blake at LPGA. She is a native Floridian and loves to spend time at the beach.

Sandy is a Certified Activities Professional, as well as a Certified Dementia Care Coordinator. Prior to making the move into the Senior Living Industry, Sandy worked as a Girl Scout Camp Director, as well as a Pre K teacher.

Sandy's favorite part of working with seniors is building relationships and getting to experience the joy with them when doing activities. She says that it always puts a smile on her face.

When she is not working, Sandy enjoys traveling and going to theme parks.

Monica is the Walk With Me Coordinator here at The Blake at LPGA. She is a native Floridian and loves to spend time outdoors with friends and family.

Monica is a Certified Activities Professional, as well as a Certified Nursing Assistant. Prior to making the move into the Senior Living Industry, Monica was an AIFD floral designer and owned and operated a flower shop in Ormond Beach, Florida.

Monica's favorite part of working with seniors is creating connections and sharing meaningful moments with them. She feels blessed to be able to make a positive impact on them each day and be a part of their lives. Her favorite part of working at The Blake is being around like-minded individuals who strive for excellence and professional customer service.

When she is not working, Monica enjoys being active outdoors. Some of her favorite hobbies include gardening, walking along the beach, and enjoying the beauty of nature.

Dave Hargis is currently serving as our Director of Facility Maintenance. He is originally from West Virginia, but has lived in Florida for several years now, enjoying all the benefits that Florida living has to offer. He has a degree in Electronics and Computer Engineering from National Institute of Technology. He also served in the US Marine Corps and is a retired US Postal Service worker.

His favorite part of working with seniors is being able to help and to be around people he respects so much. "It is a true pleasure to engage with our residents," he says. "They have an abundant treasure of history and experience. I consider it an honor and privilege to serve our residents." His favorite part of working at The Blake is his amazing team. He appreciates having teammates who are very knowledgeable and engaging, and he resonates with the company's consistent focus on excellence, compassion, and care for the residents. "I am certainly proud to be a member of the Blake team," he says.

Marissa is the Director of Dining Services here at The Blake at LPGA. She is a native Floridian and was born and raised in Daytona Beach. She has 18 years of experience in hospitality, with 8 of those specializing within the Senior Living industry.

Marissa's favorite part of working with seniors is their ability to be straightforward and honest about what they expect, like, and dislike. She says they have built businesses, raised families, and traveled the world, so when they say a dish is reminiscent of their past, it brings her so much joy!

Marissa's favorite thing about working at The Blake is the core values and standards. She says it is truly an honor to be a part of a leadership team where compassion, excellence, respect, safety, and integrity shine!

When she is not working, Marissa enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and cooking. She feels as though it is her life's purpose to be a Chef, and she loves that she has the opportunity to serve our residents.
